Ritz Carlton Pentagon City

DC IN GENERAL

Well, it has been here forever. It’s fine. It’s ok. The best part is probably the gym/pool area, but I also like the bar. Maybe the non lobby public areas are desirable…hmmmm….

Rooms are pretty big. Views can be ok of the city, but it’s not exactly right next door.
Beds are good. Bathrooms are pretty freaking basic, maybe even too old for even average style.
The TV is gigantic, like way to go.

Pool area is nice, but it’s Arlington, so you have a pointless life guard in there the entire time. Odd to say, but I also felt like it was a little too heated. No hot tub.
The gym is modern and new and the gender separated locker rooms are pretty sweet with a hot tub and a steam room that is unnecessarily big but absolutely welcome! Hammam style.

Notes

-No pay per view! What the what!
-Mini bar is good.
-Room service was good and 24 hours.
-BIG NOTE – Ritz Carlton’s only support the wifi, late checkout, and extra points for Marriott status. Upgrades, access to club level, gifts, etc are not a part of the program. Biotches!
-Valet was $39 a night
